Growing Tips for Rain Lily
Rain lilies can be planted throughout the year but they flower only during monsoon. They are also called thunder lily, monsoon lily or fairy lilies. Their sprouting is promoted by rain water. Rain lilies should be planted in well drained and rich soil and should be kept in full sun for better results. We are selling various varieties of rain lilies ( true to the type). Every variety have specific color , shape and size . Some varieties like Yellow and like pink forms big bulbs while white , lemon and apricot form small bulbs . The bulbs of deep pink variety are smaller as compared to other varieties and dry up easily. They have different blooming season. Light pink blooms soon after planting within 7-10 days while other varieties takes time . Apricot and yellow blooms from last week of June to August while Lemon and deep pink are last to bloom from August to October. August is the season when all of these blooms simultaneously. Plant 10 bulbs of each variety in a pot for a wonderful display.
